Join us on Tuesday 22nd August together with the High Life Highland Countryside Rangers for a guided walk to the top of Quinag (808m) – a fantastic Assynt mountain within the North West Highlands UNESCO Global Geopark. Look for Mountain Hares and Ptarmigan and learn about the ice-age that shaped this mountain. Please book your place here.
This is a strenuous walk for adults. Participants must have good fitness for steep and rocky terrain and bring appropriate outdoor clothing, footwear and lunch. The distance is 14km. This walk is subject to good weather conditions and if the weather is not good, we will do a shorter low-level walk. Meet at the walkers car park, on the A894 road.
