Our partners, the John Muir Trust are organising an exciting program of activities at Oldshoremore beach, near Kinlochbervie.
— Dyking workshop with a master drystone mason*

Gloves and protective eyewear provided. Steel toecap footwear is advised so please provide your own. If you do not, this is at your own risk.

— Introduction to surfing with Thurso Surf School (1.5 hr session)*

— Marine Art Workshop with artist Julia Barton (all day)
Children and adults: get creative with marine litter, taking your inspiration from the environment
— Explore the Shore (Meeting point John Muir Trust tent)
— 11:00 – 13:00 Electrofishing with North West Sutherland Fisheries Trust
— 14:30-16:00 Rock pooling and edible seaweed
— 13.00-17:00 Fishing game with the Sutherland Rangers
— Guided nature walks (Lasting approx. 2 hours) @ 11:00 and 14:00
— 17:00 Tug O’ War
